This guide will walk you through the steps to publish your first press release in magazines using Pressmaster. Follow these steps to ensure your announcement gets the visibility it deserves.

Step 1: Start Your Article

  1. Click on Your Article: Begin by selecting the article you want to publish.

  2. Give It a Title: Enter a relevant title, such as "Press Release Q4," to reflect the nature of your announcement.

Step 2: Select Publishing Date and Time

  1. Choose Publishing Date and Time: Decide whether to distribute your press release immediately or schedule it for a later date and time.

Step 3: Choose Content Type and Goals

  1. Select Content Type: Ensure you select "Press Releases" and "Magazines."

  2. Choose a Goal: Pressmaster provides various goals, such as announcing a company milestone, a new product or service launch, or any other goal.

Step 4: Provide Detailed Information

  1. Answer Questions: As you proceed, you’ll be asked specific questions. Provide as much detailed information as possible to help craft a comprehensive press release.

Step 5: Verify and Review

  1. Check Details: Once your press release is written, review all the details carefully.

  2. Ensure Third-Person Narrative: The narrative must be in third-person, which is a strict guideline that cannot be changed.

  3. Add Backlinks: You can add up to three backlinks to improve your SEO.

Step 6: Final Checks and Edits

  1. Double-Check Everything: Make sure all details are accurate because once the press release is published, the process cannot be canceled.

  2. Add Images: If desired, add images by clicking on the three dots, selecting the image icon, and uploading your picture.

  3. Fill Out Media Contact: Ensure that the media contact information is complete, as it is required by publishers and magazines.

Step 7: Select Distribution Options

  1. Go to Pressmaster’s Marketplace: After ensuring all details are correct, proceed to the marketplace.

  2. Choose Distribution Package: Select the standard distribution to send your press release to 1,500 newsfeeds across North America and global news sites, with an average of 350 syndications.

  3. Add Distribution Options: If you want additional reach, choose add-ons like distribution in Australia or guaranteed placements in Business Insider, AP, Asia, or the UK.

Step 8: Publish Your Press Release

  1. Continue and Pay: Once you’ve selected your distribution package and options, click "Continue" and complete the payment.

  2. Receive Report: After your press release is sent out, you will receive a report with all the links and statistics in your dashboard.
