How Pin Your Thoughts Works

Pin Your Thoughts is your personal knowledge capture and content repurposing engine inside Pressmaster. It lets you pin anything from the internet—videos, articles, podcasts, files—and turn it into original content with the help of AI.

Here’s how it works:

1. Pin Anything You Discover

You can pin and summarize the following:

• YouTube videos

• Articles and blog posts

• Podcasts

• Images or files

• Web links

(Note: Social media posts aren’t supported yet due to platform restrictions.)

2. Add Focus Before Summarizing (Optional)

When adding a link, you can optionally provide a focus—a short note on what you want Pressmaster to pay attention to in the summary.

• Leave it blank for a general summary

• Add a note to focus on a specific angle, message, or section

3. Get a Smart Summary

Click Summary, and Pressmaster will generate a concise, intelligent summary of the pinned content.

4. Expand with Sub-Nodes or Follow-Ups

After summarizing, you can:

• Add a Sub-Node – Include your personal thoughts or commentary

• Generate Follow-Up Questions – Let Pressmaster help you dig deeper and expand your thinking

5. Generate Content Ideas

Click Content Ideas and Pressmaster will create 15 personalized content angles based on the pinned content and your profile.

6. Turn Pins Into Content

Once you find an idea you like, you can immediately turn it into:

• An article

• A social media post

• Everything is prefilled, fully editable, and tailored to your tone.

7. Use the Mobile App to Pin on the Go

You don’t have to be at your desk. With the Pressmaster mobile app, you can:

• Pin content from anywhere

• Generate AI-powered genres

• Capture ideas and links on the fly

In short: Pin Your Thoughts turns anything you find online into inspiration for your own content—making it faster, easier, and more authentic to stay consistent with your brand.

FAQs – Pin Your Thoughts

My PIN didn’t summarize. It says the link couldn’t be accessed. Why?

Some websites block external summarization tools. If a page blocks access, Pressmaster can’t summarize it.

Why can’t I summarize social media posts?

Social platforms block external access. That’s why Pressmaster doesn’t currently support summarizing content from Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

Can I share my summaries and PINs with colleagues?

Yes. Just click the Share button to share content with teammates, partners, or clients.

Can I pin multiple files at once?

Not yet—but this feature is in development and coming soon.

How do I create content from a PIN?

Open the PIN, click the Create icon, and choose your format (article or social post). You can also generate content ideas first and start from there.

What is a subnode?

A subnode lets you attach your personal opinion to any PIN. It’s ideal when you want to merge your thoughts with the content you saved.

I can’t pin anymore. It tells me to contact support.

We have anti-abuse systems in place. The Startup plan includes 15 pins, while the Pro plan offers nearly unlimited usage—but abuse protections still apply. Contact support if you’re blocked.
